(9) Principle of operation:

a) This double spooler is an independent spooling unit which automatically adapts the speed of spooling to correspond with the line speed.

b) This has been achieved by the addition to the spooler of a wire accumulator which, when filling or emptying, give signals for the necessary changes in the wire speed.

c) The accumulator only reaches its limiting positions in abnormal circumstances and it then causes an emergency

stopping of the line.

d) This machine has a automatic operation, the changing of the wire from a full reel to an empty one, changing of the wire from one reel to another occurs when a preset length has been spooled, length counting is carried out by a special wheel equipped with needed pick-up arrangement. This measurement pulley is mounted on the spooling machine.
